2025 Year-End Review
As we conclude 2025, the Bow Island & Burdett District Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our sincere thanks to all members, volunteers, and community partners. Your involvement this year has helped strengthen our local business community and continues to build positive momentum for the future of our region.
Highlights From This Year
Throughout 2025, the Chamber proudly hosted and supported a variety of events that brought businesses and residents together, including:
Market in the Park summer events
Christmas Markets and holiday community activities
Shop Local Christmas Draws, currently underway to encourage holiday shopping within our community
Small Business Trade Show, showcasing local entrepreneurs and supporting business growth
These initiatives would not be possible without the dedication and support of our members. Thank you for your continued commitment to strengthening our local business community.
Provincial Representation & Advocacy
This year, we were pleased to send representation to the Alberta Chamber Conference, ensuring that Bow Island and Burdett have a voice at the provincial level. Attending these discussions helps us stay informed, advocate for our region, and bring back valuable insights to support our members and our local economy.
Revitalizing the Chamber for 2026
As we look toward the new year, revitalizing and expanding our Chamber remains a top priority. We are actively seeking individuals to join the Chamber Executive Committee. If you are passionate about supporting local businesses, community development, and new initiatives, we invite you to get involved. Strong leadership and fresh perspectives will guide the Chamber toward continued success.
January 15th Community Gathering – You’re Invited
We invite all Chamber members and the wider community to join us on:
January 15th
6:30 PM
Bow Island
This event will bring together Town Council, County Council, School Board Trustees, local businesses, community partners, and residents. It will be an excellent opportunity for open conversation, collaboration, and connection as we move into a new year.
Improving Communication & Information Access
One of our priorities this year has been improving how information is shared with our members. We are excited to continue developing our centralized communication platforms:
Website: https://bowislandchamberconnect.ca/
Facebook Page: A growing hub for updates, resources, and event announcements
These platforms will serve as accessible, reliable spaces for our community to stay informed and connected.
Thank You
Thank you again to all our members for your support throughout 2025. Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant, and more connected business community for Bow Island, Burdett, and the surrounding area. I look forward to continuing this work with you in the coming year.
Sincerely,
Chad Ross
